How to Create an XML Sitemap in HubSpot CMS

Did you know that HubSpot automatically creates an XML sitemap for you? It's pretty cool and easy to submit to Google Search Console.

Did you know that HubSpot can automatically generate a sitemap for your website if you're using their CMS? Let me show you how easy it is:

1. Access HubSpot and click on the gear icon for settings.
2. On the left side, navigate to "Domains and URLs."
3. Click on the "Sitemap" tab at the top.
4. Choose the domain where your website is hosted.
5. You'll now see a list of all the pages included in the sitemap.
6. If there are any pages you don't want to be indexed, like a privacy policy or a thank you page, simply click "remove" to exclude them from the sitemap.
7. Don't forget to save your changes at the bottom.

Now, to add the sitemap to Google Search Console:

1. Go to Search Console and click on "Sitemaps" in the left-hand nav
2. Copy the URL provided by HubSpot.
3. Paste the URL into Search Console where it says "Enter sitemap URL" and then click "Submit".
4. Google will now process your sitemap and show you how many pages were discovered.

That's it! It's a quick and straightforward process. While it's not necessary for small websites, I highly recommend doing it—it can't hurt, and it's beneficial for SEO. I hope this information helps, and you've learned something new today!
